Blossoms

Spring is finally here, and there are beautiful blossoms everywhere!! We had the chance during Andrew's spring break to go down to Washington DC for the first day of the cherry blossom festival. There was also a kite festival going on that day. There were so many people, so many blossoms, and so many kites. It was a great way to spend a spring day!

Our favorite thing to see blossoming, however, is this little one...

Road Trip

Andrew had spring break two weeks ago, so we decided to take a lovely drive to see our good friends, Heidi and Isaac, in Ohio. They just had a baby girl in February, so of course we had to meet her. We had so much fun holding cute little Esther, playing games, eating delicious food, and just catching up. Thanks Heidi, Isaac, and Esther for all the fun!!

"Snowpocalypse" and Snow days

I know we haven't even posted about Christmas yet, but I wanted to post a few pictures of our recent snow storms. On Friday and Saturday we got around 30" of snow and this afternoon (Tuesday) it started snowing again. This storm is supposed to give us another 10-20". The last storm has even been given names like "snowpocalypse" and "snowmagedon" by the news people. Church was canceled Sunday and my school has been canceled all week so far. Yesterday Tara and I borrowed our friends tube and went tubing on a hill up the road from us.

Summer days are long gone, winter is here to stay

It makes me laugh that our last post was in September about summer days. Those summer days are definitely long gone for a while. We received the first snow of the season on December 5th. Call me crazy, but I love the snow!! I love watching the big fluffy flakes fall from the sky! I love bundling up and going outside to play or walk in it! I couldn't help but share the view from our deck...

Summer Days

Trips, Visitors, Birthdays, 1st Anniversary, Moving...This pretty much sums up our eventful summer, and we loved every bit of it! Now it's back to school for Andrew. He's currently studying Immunology and Microbiology. You'll have to ask him what that entails...all I know is that it has to do with some crazy diseases because they are often rambled off to me by my dear husband while he's trying to memorize them. As for me, I've SERIOUSLY got to find something to do(I'm driving both my husband and myself crazy)! To see pictures of our joyous summer, look below:).
